Stalin: TN govt supports marginalized with welfare, opportunities

• Tamil Nadu government is creating opportunities for marginalised sections and supporting their upliftment, according to CM M.K. Stalin.

• Welfare assistance worth Rs 265.50 crore was distributed to 9,371 beneficiaries under the Chief Minister’s Thayumanavar Scheme.
• The government allocated Rs 87,664 crore for the Adi Dravidars Sub-Plan and Rs 8.78 crore for the Tribal Sub-Plan (2021-2025).
• CM Stalin inaugurated new infrastructure, including social justice hostels, school buildings, and village knowledge centers, built at a cost of Rs 74.20 crore.
