Two Class 7 Girls Flee Home to Avoid Exams, Rescued in Odisha

They were rescued on Saturday from a relative's house in Kishore Nagar, Angul district, Odisha.

Parents lodged a missing report; police had announced a Rs 25,000 reward for information.

Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissioner S Dev Datta Singh confirmed their rescue using human intelligence and technical support.

Inquiry revealed the girls were weak in studies and left to skip exams scheduled from March 9.
