Two Maoists Killed in Odisha Encounter, Bounties Totaling Rs 27.50 Lakh

Two Maoists were killed in an encounter with security forces in the Karada forest area along the Ganjam-Kandhamal border in Odisha.
•
The deceased were identified as Jagesh, an area committee member, and Rashmi, a party member of the CPI (Maoists).
•
Both Maoists had a combined bounty of Rs 27.50 lakh on their heads.
•
They belonged to the Kalahandi Kandhamal Boudh Nayagarh (KKBN) division and were active in violent incidents.
•
Security forces seized weapons and items; no police personnel were injured in the encounter.
