Union Budget's Rail, EV Push to Cut Delhi Pollution: Sirsa

• The Budget focuses on seven high-speed rail corridors, including Delhi–Varanasi, and allocates Rs 5,000 crore for the EV sector to improve air quality and reduce carbon emissions.
• The Centre has increased Delhi’s public borrowing limit to Rs 21,000 crore to accelerate infrastructure development in the capital.
• The Budget includes women-centric measures like an 11% increase in the women's budget, Rs 10,000 crore for girls' hostels, and schemes worth Rs 5 lakh crore for women entrepreneurs.
• Significant allocations have been made for MSMEs (Rs 10,000 crore MSME Growth Fund), startups (Startup India Fund 2.0, Funds of Funds 2.0), and welfare schemes like PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana and PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.
