UP Final Voter List on April 10; Claims & Objections Period Extended

• Uttar Pradesh's final electoral rolls will now be published on April 10, instead of March 6, as announced by the Election Commission (EC).
• The EC extended the deadline for filing claims and objections by one month, until March 6, following requests from political parties.
• Voters can use Form 6 for inclusion, Form 7 for deletion, and other forms for corrections or objections.
• The deadline for disposing of notices related to mapping discrepancies has also been extended to March 27.
• A significant number of applications have been received, with over 37.8 lakh Form-6 applications for name additions between January 6 and February 4.
