UP Trader's Daughter Aastha Jain Secures AIR 9 in UPSC Exam

•Aastha Jain, daughter of a small trader from Shamli, Uttar Pradesh, achieved All-India Rank 9 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination.
•This was Aastha's third attempt; she previously secured AIR 131 (undergoing IPS training in Hyderabad) and AIR 186.
•A bright student, she scored 496/500 in intermediate in 2019, ranking 4th nationally.
•She largely relied on self-study, supplemented by coaching and online resources, after completing her BA from the University of Delhi.
•Her father, Ajay Kumar Jain, who runs a confectionery shop, distributed sweets to celebrate her success.
