Uttam Nagar Case: Police Act Against Rumor-Spreading Social Media, Freeze Rs 37 Lakh Scam Account

•Delhi Police initiated legal action against social media accounts spreading rumors and misleading content regarding the Uttam Nagar murder case.
•A viral video seeking financial donations via a QR code, linked to the incident, collected nearly Rs 37 lakh in a suspect bank account.
•DCP (Dwarka) Kushal Pal Singh confirmed the bank account has been frozen to prevent further scamming of the public.
•Police sent 14 take-down requests to 'X' and 8 to Instagram for inflammatory content related to the March 4 clash that killed Tarun.
•Authorities warned of strict action against individuals circulating false information; 2 juveniles and 14 adults were nabbed for Tarun's killing.
