Uttarakhand CM Dhami Boosts Social Security, Disburses Pensions via One-Click System

• Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the Social Welfare Department to enhance eligibility assessment, verification, and payment processes for social security schemes.
• CM Dhami disbursed the January 2026 pension installment to nearly 9.5 lakh beneficiaries via a one-click system, transferring over ₹141 crore.
• The initiative aims for transparent, technology-driven governance, ensuring timely benefits reach the last person without negligence.
• DBT and one-click payments have curbed corruption, building trust and providing direct financial aid to beneficiaries' bank accounts.
• The state government added 15,784 new beneficiaries and removed 1,523 ineligible names, while 428 citizens were automatically approved for old age pension.
