Uttarakhand DGP Suspends 3 SIs for Negligence, Orders Strict Action on Crime & Corruption

• Uttarakhand DGP Deepam Seth chaired a high-level meeting to review crime, law and order, and public grievance disposal.
• Three Sub-Inspectors (SI) – Sahil Vashisht (AIIMS Chowki), Pradyumn Negi (Khudbuda Chowki), and Surat Sharma (Chudiyala Outpost) – were suspended for negligence in murder and clash cases.
• Investigations into crimes against women in Dehradun and the Ravidas Jayanti clash in Haridwar have been handed over to SP Crime officers.
• DGP directed mandatory CO-level investigation for all land fraud cases in Udham Singh Nagar, ensuring fair and timely resolution.
• In line with CM Pushkar Singh Dhami's zero-tolerance policy, the Vigilance Department was instructed to identify and take swift action against corrupt police personnel.
