Vairamuthu Wins Jnanpith Award, Becomes Third Tamil Writer to Receive Top Literary Honor

•Lyricist Vairamuthu has been selected for the prestigious Jnanpith Award.
•He is the third Tamil writer to receive the country's highest literary honour, following Akilan (1975) and Jayakanthan (2002).
•Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin congratulated Vairamuthu, expressing immense joy over the announcement.
•Stalin noted he had met the poet earlier on the day the news arrived, enhancing the joy of their meeting.
•The CM praised Vairamuthu's mastery of traditional and modern poetry and his innovations in Tamil literature.
