Veteran Diplomat Mariana Neisuler takes helm as US Consul General in Chennai

•Mariana L Neisuler officially assumed charge as the US Consul General in Chennai on March 2, announced by the US Consulate General.
•She will lead efforts to strengthen US-India relations across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Puducherry, Lakshadweep, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
•A career diplomat, Neisuler brings extensive South Asian experience, having previously served in Tashkent, Jerusalem, Amman, and Washington.
•An academic achiever, she holds multiple Master's degrees and is fluent in Bulgarian, Russian, Arabic, and Macedonian.
