Ward Boy Posing as Doctor Arrested After Woman Dies From Injections in Navi Mumbai

• A ward boy, Sandesh Yashwant Pashte, was arrested in Navi Mumbai for allegedly administering injections that led to a 21-year-old woman's death.
• Pashte posed as a doctor and charged Rs 15,000 for a five-injection course to treat Prachiti Bhikuram Bhuvad for irregular periods, claiming she had PCOD.
• After receiving two injections on February 5, Bhuvad fell unconscious and died two hours later at a hospital.
• Pashte confessed to being a ward boy at a private nursing home in Andheri after being confronted by the victim's family.
• He was booked and arrested on February 6 under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for culpable homicide not amounting to murder and cheating by personation.
