•IMD forecasts rain and hailstorms with gusty winds in several West Bengal districts on Friday and Saturday.
•Day temperatures expected to drop by 2-3 degrees Celsius across most districts.
•South Bengal districts like Purulia, Bankura, and Howrah may experience lightning, thundersqualls with 60-70 kmph winds, and hailstorms.
•North Bengal's Jalpaiguri and Alipurduar warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall; Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Cooch Behar for heavy rain.
