Cred gets RBI nod to operate as payment aggregator, eyes seamless transactions

•Fintech firm Cred receives RBI authorization to operate as a payment aggregator (PA).
•The license, granted to Dreamplug Paytech Solutions Private Limited, allows direct merchant onboarding and payment processing.
•This enables Cred to manage core payment flows, promising faster and more seamless user experiences.
•Cred now holds two RBI licenses (PA, PPI) and other approvals from IRDA, SEBI, and NPCI.
•Founded in 2018, Cred has expanded its financial services, processing over Rs 8.5 lakh crore for 1.5 crore users.
