KPMG names Gary Wingrove as next Global Chairman and CEO, to take charge in Oct 2026

• Gary Wingrove has been elected as the next Global Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of KPMG International, effective October 1, 2026.
• Wingrove currently serves as Global Chief Operating Officer and is a key member of the Global Management Team, instrumental in shaping KPMG’s Collective Strategy.
• His work includes operational integration, regional clustering, investment alignment, alliance expansion, and growth of the KPMG Delivery Network, alongside overseeing digital transformation and AI adoption.
• Wingrove will succeed Bill Thomas, who led KPMG through significant transformation and growth, increasing global revenues by 55% and expanding the workforce to over 276,000.
• Wingrove aims to leverage agility, deep expertise, and AI-enabled solutions to help clients, building on the foundation laid by Thomas.
