Lucknow-based Kalam Labs develops near-space drones (UAVs) designed to fly into the stratosphere, significantly higher than conventional systems.

Founded in 2018 by BITS Pilani graduates, Kalam Labs' drones have minimal thermal signatures, making them difficult to detect by radar.

The startup was featured on Shark Tank, involved in the film 'Fighter', and is backed by Lightspeed and Y Combinator.

This investment reflects Goyal's increasing focus on deeptech ventures, adding to his portfolio which includes Pixxel and Temple.
