CSK assures Madras HC: No unlicensed Jailer, Coolie music; Sun TV copyright suit continues

•Chennai Super Kings assured Madras HC it will not use film music like 'Jailer' or 'Coolie' without proper licences.
•Justice Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy disposed of two injunction applications filed by Sun TV Network following CSK's undertaking.
•Sun TV had sued CSK for copyright infringement over music used in a promotional video for their 2026 jersey.
•Sun TV is seeking ₹1 crore in damages and disclosure of revenues generated from the promotional campaign.
•The court asked Sun TV to clarify if it wishes to pursue the main copyright suit; the next hearing is on April 6.
