Govt Notifies 8th Pay Commission, Rules Out DA/DR Merger With Basic Pay

• MoS Finance Pankaj Chaudhary stated 50.14 lakh government employees and 69 lakh pensioners will benefit from the 8th Pay Commission.
• The 8th CPC's implementation date will be decided by the government after the commission submits recommendations within 18 months of its constitution.
