SBI Mutual Fund IPO: Listing by September, $15 Billion Valuation Targeted

SBI Mutual Fund, India's largest fund house, plans to file its DRHP for an IPO by March 2026 and list by September.

SBI and Amundi, joint venture partners, will divest a 10% stake, aiming for a valuation of $14-15 billion.

The fund house manages assets of approximately Rs 12 lakh crore as of September 2025, being the first to cross Rs 10 lakh crore AUM.
•
Listed peers like Nippon Life India AMC (77% return) and HDFC AMC (40% return) have shown strong performance.
•
ICICI Prudential AMC, listed in December 2025, is now the most valuable AMC with a market cap of Rs 1.5 lakh crore.
