India's Industrial & Warehousing Demand Soars 16% in 2025 Driven by Big Leases
- •India's industrial and warehousing demand reached 36.9 million sq ft in 2025, a 16% year-on-year increase, making it one of the strongest performances.
- •Large-sized leasing transactions (200,000 sq ft or more) accounted for nearly 45% of the total demand, driving significant growth.
- •Delhi NCR and Chennai were the top demand centers, contributing 46% of total leasing, with Delhi NCR leading at 24% and Chennai at 22%.
- •Third-party logistics (3PL) players remained the backbone, accounting for one-third of annual demand, while engineering and e-commerce firms also showed strong traction.
