PGIM India Halts Fresh Investments in 3 Overseas Funds; Sebi Limits Cited
•
PGIM India Asset Management has stopped fresh inflows into three overseas mutual fund schemes.
•
The affected funds are PGIM India Global Equity Opportunities, Emerging Markets Equity, and Global Select Real Estate Securities Fund of Funds.
•
Decision made to comply with Sebi's overseas investment limits of $7 billion for MFs and $1 billion for ETFs.
•
From March 09, 2026, new lump-sum investments, new SIP/STP, and switches into these schemes will not be accepted.
•
Existing SIP/STP registrations will continue; investors can sell units or switch out, and new SWP registrations are permitted.
