Bengaluru Police Crack Down: 295 Fined, 40 Cases in Late-Night Anti-Tobacco Drive

Bengaluru North Division Police conducted a late-night anti-tobacco enforcement drive on March 6-7.

40 cases were registered and 295 individuals were fined for smoking in prohibited public places.
•
The operation covered 13 police station jurisdictions, enforcing the COTPA Act, 2003.

Police also inspected commercial establishments for illegal tobacco advertising displays.
•
