•A crucial error by an accomplice, Ghouse Saddam, who abandoned his motorcycle after getting chilli powder in his eyes, led to the unraveling of the plot.
•Police tracked the accused to Shamshabad airport, arresting Khusroddin, Umar Sharif, Ghouse Saddam, and Abdul Hameed as they attempted to flee to Dubai, recovering Rs 77.39 lakh.
