• A shocking incident in Mahabubabad district saw a son-in-law, Banoth Rajesh, allegedly murder his mother-in-law, Kausalya, by electrocuting her over a property dispute.
• The incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday at Mangala Thanda, Garla mandal, after Rajesh invited his in-laws to his home under the pretext of resolving family matters.
• Rajesh reportedly feared his brother's second marriage to Anjali, a relative of Kausalya, would reduce his share of family property, leading to deep resentment.
• After serving alcohol, Rajesh allegedly electrocuted his father-in-law, Daravath Ramdas, leaving him unconscious, then electrocuted Kausalya, who died on the spot.
• Rajesh also attacked his wife, Jyothi, and sister-in-law, Anjali, with a knife when they tried to intervene; Ramdas is currently hospitalized, and police are investigating.
