Mumbai Gets New Jogeshwari Railway Terminus: Boost for WEH Commuters

• Western Railway is constructing a new terminus at Jogeshwari for long-distance mail and express trains.
• Expected to be completed by year-end, it will operate 12 pairs of daily trains, including routes to Delhi and North India.
• The terminus aims to reduce the need for Mumbai commuters to travel to Dadar, CSMT, Mumbai Central, or Bandra Terminus.
• Built under the Amrit Bharat Station Development Scheme, the project costs approximately Rs 76.84 crore.
• Located between Ram Mandir and Jogeshwari stations, it will also benefit commuters on the Western Express Highway.
