Pune Man Robbed of Rs 80,000 in Same-Sex Dating App Scam

• A 27-year-old Pune man was lured via a gay dating app under the pretext of a hookup.
• The victim was invited to meet near Sheetal Petrol Pump in Kondhwa by an accused named Raheel.
• Upon meeting, Raheel and three accomplices assaulted the victim in a secluded field near Pansare Nagar and Bharati Vedant International School.
• They robbed him of his mobile phone, gold and silver jewellery, cash, and withdrew money from his ATM.
• Kondhwa police have registered a case and are investigating using the dating app ID, phone number, CCTV, and financial transactions.
