Tiger Scales Wedding Hall Wall in Andhra Pradesh, Sparks Panic in Rajahmundry
- •A tiger, strayed from Maharashtra's Tadoba Tiger Reserve, was filmed scaling a wedding hall wall near Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh, causing widespread panic.
- •The big cat has crossed the Godavari River, entered densely populated areas, and killed cattle in Thorredu village and a buffalo in Raghunadhapuram.
- •It was spotted near Auto Nagar, Lalacheruvu, Diwancheruvu, and later pug marks were found near Ankalammathalli temple hillock.
- •Forest department has launched a large-scale operation with 12 teams, expert assistance from Pune, trap cameras, drones, and thermal cameras to capture the tiger.
- •Residents in Rajanagaram, Sitanagaram, and Rajahmundry rural mandals are advised to stay indoors at night and secure their livestock.
