Amit Shah inaugurates NE's largest auditorium in Guwahati; Rs 291 Cr project boasts 5,000 seats
- •Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated ‘Jyoti-Bishnu Antarjatik Kala Mandir’, the North East region’s largest auditorium, in Guwahati, Assam.
- •Built at a cost of Rs 291 crore, the auditorium can accommodate 5,000 spectators and spans 45 bighas (14.85 acres) in Khanapara.
- •The complex includes a convention centre, VIP suites, multi-level parking for 450 vehicles, and advanced audio-visual and digital infrastructure.
- •Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated the complex will operate on green energy with solar panels.
- •Amit Shah will also felicitate 1,000 beneficiaries of the Congenital Heart Disease programme at the venue.
