Maharashtra's Economy Soars: 7.9% Growth Projected for 2025-26

• The services sector remains the largest contributor, expected to grow by 9% and account for nearly 60% of the Gross State Value Added (GSVA).
• The state's nominal GSDP is estimated at Rs 51 lakh crore for 2025-26, with a per capita income of Rs 3,47,903, significantly higher than the national average.
• Maharashtra leads in FDI inflows (31% share from Oct 2019-Mar 2025) and holds the highest share in bank deposits (22.7%) and gross credit (27.8%).
• Favorable monsoon in 2025 boosted agriculture; unemployment rate declined to 3.3% in 2023-24, reflecting stable growth momentum.
