BCCI Appoints Niraj Odedra as West Zone Head Coach for Vizzy Trophy

•BCCI named Niraj Odedra as the head coach for the West Zone team in the upcoming Vizzy Trophy.
•Odedra's appointment follows his successful tenure with the Saurashtra team, including two Ranji Trophy wins and a Vijay Hazare Trophy title.
•A former first-class cricketer, Odedra was part of Saurashtra's support staff for Ranji Trophy victories in 2019-20 and 2022-23.
•He also coached Saurashtra to the Vijay Hazare Trophy title in 2022-23, achieving a domestic double.
•The Vizzy Trophy, a 50-over inter-university event, will be held in Goa from March 1 to 7, featuring four zonal teams.
