Driver's Daughter Archana Saini Makes History: First Chomu Woman in Ranji, Eyes Team India

Archana Saini, 26, from Bhojalawa, Chomu, is the first woman from her region to play state cricket tournaments, inspiring many.
•
Daughter of a driver, she overcame societal taunts and began playing cricket at age 7, practicing with boys in an academy.
•
She has represented Rajasthan in the Senior Ranji Trophy since 2018 and played National U-19 and U-23 tournaments.
•
Archana also represented India in a tournament in Sri Lanka in 2023.
•
Her ultimate goal is to be selected for the Indian team and a Women's Premier League (WPL) team, with Virat Kohli as her idol.
