Mohammad Nadeem, at 43 years and 161 days, became the oldest batter to score a T20 World Cup half-century, surpassing Sanath Jayasuriya's record.
•
Nadeem scored an unbeaten 53 runs from 56 balls against Sri Lanka in Oman's 105-run defeat.
•
He also equalled the unwanted record for the slowest fifty in a T20 World Cup, reaching 50 in 52 balls, a record shared with Mohammad Rizwan.

Nadeem is the fourth Omani cricketer to score a T20 World Cup half-century.
