Beed Murder: Friend Killed Over Wedding Defamation Fear, Money Dispute

• Chand alias Guddu Tamboli (30) was found murdered in Shirur Kasar taluka, Beed district.
• His close friend, Atik Gulab Tamboli, was arrested within 15 hours for the murder.
• The motive was a Rs 1.5 lakh money dispute; Chand threatened to disrupt Atik's upcoming wedding if not repaid.
• Atik, fearing defamation, murdered Chand by crushing him with a stone on Sunday night after an argument.
• The Local Crime Branch, led by PI Shivaji Bantewad, used technical analysis and call details to apprehend Atik in Beed city.
