• A 25-year-old married woman, Aruna Thombre, from Undri, Kej taluka, Beed, died by suicide due to continuous harassment.
• Aruna was allegedly subjected to physical and mental abuse by her husband and in-laws for not bearing a son, having three daughters instead.
• Her husband, Uddhav Thombre, mother-in-law, Indubai Thombre, and father-in-law, Uttam Thombre, are accused of taunting her with remarks like 'You ended our lineage'.
• The incident has left her three young daughters, Rajnandini (5) and twins Arya and Apurva (4), orphaned.
• A case has been registered against the husband, mother-in-law, and father-in-law at Yusufwadgaon Police Station based on a complaint by Aruna's brother.
