Pune Tragedy: Bet, Bottle, Death; Friends' Recklessness Kills Young Man

• A young man, Ramkumar Sah (35), died in Pune after friends forced him to drink a 750 ml bottle of country liquor in one go as part of a bet.

• Instead of seeking medical help, Ramkumar's friends, Krishna Singh (35) and Vikas Kumar, abandoned him in the field and later disposed of his body to destroy evidence.
• Police found Ramkumar's body on December 31 after locals reported a foul smell and subsequently arrested Krishna and Vikas.
