IAF's Stealth Drone Push: Rs 39,000 Crore Opportunity for Domestic Industry

Indian Air Force's plan to induct unmanned stealth fighters creates a Rs 39,000 crore opportunity for domestic industry.
•
The Remotely Piloted Strike Aircraft (RPSA) program, formerly Ghatak, will use a development-cum-production partner (DCPP) approach.
•
Industry players will bid to build six prototypes, with the initial phase estimated at Rs 10,000 crore.
•
Large-scale production will follow, with orders for over 60 unmanned stealth aircraft to equip four squadrons, potentially increasing.
•
The RPSA will feature over 80% indigenous content, deploy local weapons, and operate with AMCA under a manned-unmanned teaming concept.
