IISc BS Program Fees Hiked by 700% to Rs 80,000 Annually; New Rate from 2026-27

• This 700% hike will be effective from the 2026–27 academic year and will apply only to new admissions.
• Existing students in the BS program will continue to pay fees under the old structure.
• The fee revision, the first in over a decade, aims to align with rising education costs and other leading institutions.
• IISc assures continued financial assistance for students from reserved categories and economically weaker sections.
