Pradhan Unveils Major Projects at NIT Rourkela, Boosts Student Facilities

• Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan inaugurated an Indoor Sports Complex and a 1,000-seater open-air theatre at NIT Rourkela.
• Foundation stones were laid for a Civil Engineering Department Building, a New Institute Guest House, and the MCL Hall of Residence (Girls’ Hostel).
• The Rs 35 crore Indoor Sports Complex, part of SAC, offers international standard facilities for various sports and cultural activities.
• A permanent Kendriya Vidyalaya construction site was also inaugurated, alongside future projects worth over Rs 800 crore.
• Pradhan praised NIT Rourkela's progress in education, research, and innovation, aligning with Viksit Bharat @ 2047 vision.
