KVS Announces 987 Special Educator Vacancies for TGT & PRT Posts in 2026

• Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has announced 987 Special Educator vacancies for the 2026–27 academic session.
• Vacancies are split between 493 TGT Special Educator posts and 494 PRT Special Educator posts, aimed at supporting Children with Special Needs (CWSN).
• Eligibility for PRT requires Class 12 with 50% marks, a two-year Diploma in Special Education, and CTET Paper-I qualification.
• TGT eligibility includes Graduation with 50% marks, B.Ed. in Special Education or B.Ed. (General) with a one-year Diploma, CTET Paper-II, and RCI registration.
• Selection involves a 180-mark Computer Based Test (CBT) and a 60-mark Professional Competence Test (teaching demonstration and interview), with a 70:30 weightage.
