AIMIM Joins Humayun Kabir's Party for West Bengal Polls, Owaisi Confirms Alliance
•AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi announced an alliance with Humayun Kabir’s Aam Janata Unnayan Party (AJUP) for the upcoming West Bengal Assembly elections.
•AJUP founder Humayun Kabir stated his party plans to contest 182 seats, with AIMIM contesting approximately 8 seats.
•Kabir has announced 18 candidates, including himself from Raninagar and Naoda, another Humayun Kabir from Bhagwangola, and Manisha Pathak Pandey from Murshidabad 64.
•Discussions for seat-sharing are ongoing between AIMIM West Bengal observer Advocate Adil Hussain and Humayun Kabir.
•The West Bengal Assembly has 294 seats, with polling on April 23 and 29, and vote counting on May 4.
