THDCIL Starts India's 1st Variable Speed PSP in Uttarakhand

• India has begun operating its first variable speed Pumped Storage Project (PSP) in Uttarakhand.
• THDCIL commenced the Commercial Operation Date (COD) process for the 3rd Unit (250 MW) of the 1,000 MW Tehri Variable Speed PSP.
