Chhattisgarh CM Lays Foundation for Chitrotpala International Film City in Naya Raipur

• Chhattisgarh CM Shri Vishnudev Sai laid the foundation stone for Chitrotpala International Film City and Tribal & Cultural Convention Centre in Naya Raipur.
• The project, spread across 95 acres in its first phase, aims to integrate cinema, culture, trade, tourism, and livelihoods.
• Developed under the Ministry of Tourism's Special Assistance Scheme, it will be a platform for creative professionals, artisans, and local communities.
• India Exposition Mart Limited (IEML) and Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH) are involved in developing comprehensive infrastructure.
• The CM announced Rs 150 crore for the first phase, with a total investment of Rs 250-300 crore, aiming for completion in two years.

Why It Matters: Naya Raipur is set to become India's first fully equipped international film city, boosting Chhattisgarh's economy.
