•Despite these massive transactions, profits for most IPL teams dipped from FY24 to FY25, contrary to popular belief.
•Even high-value franchises like Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians saw a decline in profits.
•Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants registered losses in FY25, with GT experiencing the biggest loss.
