10-Month-Old Becomes Kerala’s Youngest Organ Donor, Saves Five Lives

• Alin Sherin Abraham, a 10-month-old, became Kerala's youngest organ donor after her parents donated her organs at Amrita Hospital.
• Her liver, kidneys, heart valve, and eyes were donated, saving five lives, including a 6-month-old baby receiving the liver.
• Alin became brain dead on February 13 following a road accident on February 5 while traveling from Kottayam to Thiruvalla.
• Organs were swiftly transported from Kochi to Thiruvananthapuram in 3 hours and 15 minutes, facilitated by police and public.
• Health Minister Veena George praised the parents' decision and the coordinated efforts of all involved in the organ donation.
