Germany, Philippines, UAE Join Indian Navy's Fleet Review for First Time in Visakhapatnam

• Germany, the Philippines, and the UAE will deploy frontline assets for the first time at the Indian Navy's International Fleet Review (IFR) in Visakhapatnam, starting February 18.
• Germany will send a P-8 maritime patrol aircraft, the Philippines BRP Miguel Malvar (FFG-06), and the UAE Al Emarat, an offshore patrol vessel.
• Over 70 nations, including landlocked countries like Bhutan, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan, and more than 20 African countries, will participate through ships, aircraft, and delegations.
• The event, themed 'United Through Oceans,' will include a harbor phase, ceremonial review, passage exercises, and cultural celebrations.
• President Droupadi Murmu will review the fleet on February 18 from INS Sumedha, with displays including flypasts, sailing vessels, and Marine Commando demonstrations.
