8 Candidates Elected Unopposed in KDMC Polls; BJP Leads with 5 Seats
- •Eight candidates have been elected unopposed in the 122-member Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation (KDMC) polls.
- •Four candidates from Ward 24 – Shiv Sena's Ramesh Mhatre, Vishwanath Rane, Vrushali Joshi, and BJP's Jyoti Pawan Patil – were declared unopposed.
- •BJP's Manda Subhash Patil was also elected unopposed from Panel 27A on Thursday.
- •The total unopposed candidates include five from BJP and three from the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena.
- •Shiv Sena and BJP are contesting the KDMC polls in alliance.
