8 Candidates Elected Unopposed in KDMC Polls; BJP Leads with 5 Seats

• Eight candidates have been elected unopposed in the 122-member Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation (KDMC) polls.
• Four candidates from Ward 24 – Shiv Sena's Ramesh Mhatre, Vishwanath Rane, Vrushali Joshi, and BJP's Jyoti Pawan Patil – were declared unopposed.
• BJP's Manda Subhash Patil was also elected unopposed from Panel 27A on Thursday.
• The total unopposed candidates include five from BJP and three from the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena.
