Assam CM Launches ₹300 Crore Projects in BTR, Boosts Infrastructure & Women Empowerment

• Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma launched projects worth over ₹300 crore in Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) districts.
• Foundation stone laid for ₹150-crore BTC mini-secretariat in Udalguri, featuring a five-storey complex with various departments, a conference hall, and a BTC legislative assembly building.
• A ₹63.45-crore railway flyover at Golma Chowk–Mission Chariali Road in Udalguri will ease traffic congestion and boost socio-economic development; a badminton facility is planned beneath it.
• Virtually inaugurated the ₹36-crore Tangla Town Water Supply Project (Phases I & II) to provide safe drinking water to residents.
• Distributed ₹10,000 each to 26,988 women in Tangla Assembly constituency under a beneficiary scheme for women entrepreneurs, making Tangla the 114th constituency covered.
