  • The boy's father, Vimlesh Mishra, a temple priest in Varanasi, filed a complaint, leading to an FIR under BNS Section 305 (theft).
  • Police have arrested two accused, a young man and a woman, and recovered some jewellery; efforts are ongoing to apprehend the third absconding suspect.
