ED Charges WinZO, Promoters for Rs 734 Crore Loss via Bots, AI Manipulation

• The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has filed a chargesheet against online gaming platform WinZO and its promoters.
• WinZO is accused of causing Rs 734 crore in losses to users by manipulating games with bots and AI.
• The prosecution complaint was submitted by ED's Bengaluru zonal office to a special PMLA court on January 23.
• Accused include Winzo Pvt. Ltd., directors Paavan Nanda and Saumya Singh Rathore, and overseas subsidiaries like Winzo US Inc. and Winzo SG Pte. Ltd.
• WinZO, which offered over 100 real-money games, claimed a user base of nearly 250 million, many from tier-3 and tier-4 cities.
