• The Directorate of Enforcement (ED) is conducting fresh raids at Indian Pac Consulting Private Limited (I-PAC) premises in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Delhi.
• The raids are part of the ongoing investigation into the West Bengal coal scam case.
• Search operations were also carried out at locations linked to I-PAC director Rishi Raj Singh in Bengaluru.
• The probe pertains to charges of illegal coal mining and theft from Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) in West Bengal.
• Investigation revealed a hawala operator facilitated transactions worth tens of crores to I-PAC, bringing director Pratik Jain under ED's radar.
